How Does It Work?

  • How many times will I need to receive prayer?
I am not really in charge of the healing process; it is God who does the healing through the power of His Holy Spirit.
Generally I find that the first time or two people are a bit cautious, anxious or maybe even a little skeptical . This can hinder and slow the healing process. However, each time I pray for you, healing will occur.

I view healing as more of a process and once you have received prayer it will be easier for you to determine how much you would like.

  •  How come different things keep coming up when your being delivered?
We tend to think of life choices and their consequences as simple and with little effect.  The truth is, most have a chain reaction that affects many areas of our lives.

  • How do you keep your deliverance?
Many of the reasons we need deliverance is not because of the present, but rather because of the past. Once the past roots are properlty dealt with, all we need to do is continue to live for Jesus and enjoy our christian life. We do need to realize however, that deliverance is a process, and as new layers come up we need to seek out more prayer.

  • How do you know if you need deliverance?
I like to explain it this way. Take anger for example. If someone has a tendency to be overcome with uncontrollable anger, I like to think deliverance is in order. However, if anger is easily managed with little or no display, it would be up to the individual if they would like help in that area.

  • Do you know what you are praying for while you are praying in tongues and can you tell what has been removed?
In early years of ministry I would name all of the spirit strongholds that were being removed. This was informative, a bit amusing, and certainly embarrassing at times.

As ministry has developed I have a greater confidence in the ministry of Holy Spirit and enjoy the fact that I’m not required to know all of the details of the ministry.

Doing this ministry as long as I have has certainly allowed me to know what is important to Holy Spirit and it is easy to know in part what He is working on in your life.

At times certain strongholds are difficult to remove or have a legal claim to remain in your life and at those times more knowledge is required.

Some times forgiveness is required and at other times Holy Spirit tells me things through words of knowledge, and sometimes your input is required.

Ministry happens much quicker without having to talk about or discuss each issue and people have felt much better about ministry knowing that I don’t know every intricate detail of their lives.

  • How do you know what spirit you are dealing with?
When we have learned to flow in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, we can know what we are dealing by using word of knowledge or discerning of spirits.

  • In a group setting can others receive healing also or just the person you are praying with?
Many times in group settings people experience healing and deliverance without being directly prayed for. It seems to occur more for those in a closer proximity.

  • Why do some people feel sick to their stomachs the next day?
I am not totally sure why that happens with some people. Some with medical knowledge have told me that toxins are being removed from the body and it is a good idea to drink extra water the next few days.

  • How should I feel after receiving ministry and into the next day?
My hope is that everyone feels very relaxed and peaceful and returns home with their much desired healing.

However I realize that at times ministry may not be as successful as I’d hoped. Sometimes additional ministry is needed to deal with the layers that still exist.

If struggles arise I encourage people to avail themselves to additional ministry either in person or via phone.
